The SCEDC is a government/non-profit entity with the purpose being to promote, assist, and enhance economic development in the city of Sterling City. The SCEDC operates in accordance with the Texas Development Corporation Act of 1979 and is funded solely through city sales tax.

The SCEDC invites all potential businesses to contact our office so that we can work together to make your plans of starting a business in Sterling City a reality.
